Being born and growing up in Đất Đỏ, Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu, a rural, agricultural town in Southern Vietnam where about half of his childhood friends couldn’t complete high school due to financial hardships, Hải knew first-hand the importance of education and financial struggles faced by students, especially those in less privileged provinces. For him, giving back to the community is not an option – it’s a calling. Hải met Nhật at the MIT Sloan MBA program and was impressed with Fund for Dreams’ mission and the accomplishments the team has done together. He joined the team in hope of helping to amplify the FFD’s message and co-generate more positive impacts, one at a time.
